Tropical Fiddle Leaf Fig – also known as Ficus Lyrata – has large upright veined leaves shaped like a fiddle.
It thrives in a warm location with bright light (one to two hours of morning or evening direct sunlight is OK). Water approximately once a week in winter and twice a week in summer if it is very warm, ensuring the plant doesn’t sit in excess water. Room temperate water is recommended. Feed with dilute liquid fertiliser every couple of weeks during the warmer months.
A good natural or artificial light source directly above the plant will help keep the leaves pointing upwards.
Current plant heights are approximately 120cm from the bottom of the pot to the tallest leaf tip.
We’ve paired this Fiddle Leaf Fig with our Rounded Black Pot which has a matt stone-like surface. It is made of lightweight mineral-fibreglass composite, and has been sealed for indoor use. Pot dimensions: 36cm x 28cm tall.
