The classic Spider Plant, Chlorophytum comosum, has grassy like green leaves with white variegation.
This plant loves humidity and a bright warm location with indirect sunlight.
Keep soil moist in summer to avoid dry tips. In winter, allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
A key feature of this plant are the ‘pups’ (babies) that are produced on long stems coming from the mother plant. Keep soil evenly moist to keep these pups alive until the roots on the baby plants are fully developed. The pups can then be moved to a new pot.
