Swedish Ivy in Tall Berlin Pot
A perfect pairing of plant and pot ♥
Swedish Ivy – also known as Swedish Begonia – is not Swedish, nor Ivy nor a Begonia.
Technically called Plectranthus Australis, this native of Australia and the Pacific Islands features bright green trailing foliage with beautiful scalloped edges.
With optimal care and positioning, Swedish Ivy will produce tubular white-mauve flowers in summer.
Position this plant in a warm location with bright indirect light (close to a window) and water weekly. Allow the top of the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Feed regularly during summer. Trim to maintain shape.
We’ve paired this plant with our stoneware Tall Berlin Pot which is a Nude colour. This planter has a built in ‘shelf’, allowing excess water to drain into a well at the base of the pot. Take care not to overfill the water well. Pot dimensions: External Height 21cm. Internal Diameter 15cm.
